Top 100 most improved schools 2013-15
I hope that you all received the email containing the letter from Nick Gibb, Minister of State for Schools, congratulating the college for being one of the top 100 schools in the country for sustained improvement in 5A*-C with English and Maths 2013-15.
This is a tremendous acknowledgement for the college and particularly our students and staff. It reflects our journey over the last few years to really develop the work that the college does to do the best it can for our families.
What makes this achievement even more exciting is when it is taken in context that there are 3500 other non-selective state schools in the country. This improvement is against a context of more challenging examinations and more stringent accountability.
Well done to our students over the last three years and thank you to all our staff and parents / carers who have made this outcome possible.
